The Cabinet One-Pager
A template for the monthly enrollment marketing update: five blocks, one page, every number sourced. Built so the hardest question in the room already has an answer on the paper.
1 · The headline
One sentence: are we on track to fill the class?
- Enrollments to date vs. goal, with pacing status (ahead / on pace / behind)
- The single most important change since last month
Watch out: Don't open with channel metrics. Open with the outcome the room cares about.
2 · The funnel
Volume and conversion at each stage, with comparison.
- Leads → applications → enrollments, this cycle vs. same point last cycle
- Lead-to-enrollment percentage (LTE%), trended
Watch out: Same-point-last-cycle is the honest comparison — month-over-month mixes seasonal effects into every number.
3 · The money
What it costs, honestly computed.
- Spend vs. budget vs. cycle progress (three numbers, side by side)
- Cost per enrollment by paid channel — spend ÷ paid-source enrollments
- Gross or net clearly labeled (pick one for the page; footnote the other)
Watch out: If organic volume is in any cost denominator, the page won't survive a sharp CFO.
4 · The decision
What you're changing, and why.
- One reallocation or hold decision, with the two numbers that justify it
- What you expect it to change by next month's page
Watch out: A report with no decision attached trains the room to skim. Always ship one.
5 · The watch list
What might move next, so nothing surprises the room later.
- One young cohort still maturing (note its projected finish)
- One risk — a channel pacing hot/cold, a data caveat, a market shift
Watch out: Flagging a risk early is cheap. Explaining a surprise later is not.
